Parking Ticket

Hi Everyone,
I received a ticket back in March 2012,
I appealed the ticket twice, and they said that i still had to pay.
I overstayed my welcome by 6 minutes, and now was £127.00 for this. I refuse to pay as 6 minutes in a 30p an hour car park does not equate to £127.00. Not to mention the fact that I had to queue for 5 minutes whilst waiting to pay at the machine.
I have so far received four letters.
Two Failed appeals, a letter stating I had to pay, and now just received a letter now saying had three options.
Pay up by 31 May, have someone come to my door, or possibly be taken to court.
Any comments are most welcome

Be taken to court? This sounds like a PPC not a council ticket.
Is it a council address on the ticket or a private parking company? If its a PPC ignore them.0 -
Get the ticket and find the bit that says send payments to or that thing and post up what it says in that bit, in short where and who does it ask you to pay:Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. The debt collector is
CCSCOLLECT
797 London Road
Thornton Heath
CR7 6YY0 -
Ignore it then. Writing to them and appealing does nothing other than to confirm who was driving the vehicle and that they got the correct address. You've probably told them who was driving now (lesson to learn - in future ignore) so I would suggest that unless you get an official court document you just continue to ignore them.0

Just ignore it, have no further contact with them.
Because you've tried to appeal it, they know that you a) Might pay, b) That you believe the ticket to be genuine c) That they have the correct details for the owner d) That they now know who was driving.
I plead with you to have no further contact with these clowns, nobody will come to your door, nobody will take you to court, just get prepared for another deluge of toilet paper to fall through your door.

You are likely to get more begging letters
Letters threatening to sue you, take your wife, kids, home etc etc
But you can do the same as you would with those Nigerian emails or those offering Viagra......Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
