Where to put my walking stick on my wheelchair

I have full length crutches and carry them underneath the wheelchair by sliding the bottom end of the crutch over the rear axle and then forward under the chair. It's supported at the front of the chair by the calf strap. Works a treat.0

(Can't vouch for the site though as never used it myself).
Good link thanks and this would be good for when I get my electric scooter sorted out.0 -
Thanks for all the help
With my wheelchair I will now just use my folding stick (which being brain dead had not occurred to me). However when I get my electric scooter sorted I think the item as link by theoldcynic looks good.
Again thanks.0 -
My husband pushes me in my wheelchair and I have the same problem with my stick, but now I've just remembered that it's a folding one so could put it in my bag!

I only mentioned the idea of a folded stick because its what I used to do when I could use sticks a few years ago, otherwise fog would have hit me too.“How people treat you becomes their karma; how you react becomes yours.”0 -

May I ask if the folding sticks are as sturdy as standard sticks? To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains!FEB GC/DIESEL £200/4 WEEKS0 -

My first folder was from Tesco last year. And the bottom part fell off, after a couple of months, but luckily I wasn't leaning on it at the time. Tesco were very concerned and sent me a letter apologising and a voucher - £10. Still better than nowt. The stick was only £10 but was my first one.
Since then I have a much better quality folder and additionally a solid wooden one. For me at 14.5 stones and 6' tall both feel equally as strong. But I feel the ones issued by the NHS (aluminium) seem stronger still.0 -

I have a purple flowery aluminum folding stick that I got from Ebay for about £7.
It's very sturdy and carries my weight, but I'm only 7 and a half stone.2019 Wins
