Well done you! Can I ask if you had much shopping or more expensive items as when I found a Dtd on a dear item light years ago I was asked how I didn't notice as I only had £20 or so shopping so I should have noticed the bill before paying. Mine too was on phones. The manager was called and I felt embarrassed and given it as he didn't care but if I get trolled next time what can I say? Dtd seem to be few and far between it seems nowadays too.A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j0 -
If I buy something like the phones and the bill is big, I just say I was chatting to the cashier and wasn't concentrating, and it wasn't until you walked off that I thought it was a bit much. Makes no odds anyway, an overcharge is an overcharge0

My other shopping was 4 cans of larger, no one questions it at all0

but what if you hadn't noticed? what if you were some forgetful old pensioner? putting out shelf tags with misprices is illegal is it not according to trading standards? expoliting tescos illegality seems ok by me0

I never say anything, just 'I have been overcharged' - never been asked why I haven't noticed. Now and again I have to remind them that its double the difference but not too often. And always, always, always go with them to check the SEL just in case it disappears0
