I don't know if this will help anyone, but in Wilkinson's this morning I have bought:
Suncatcher set (flower and butterfly suncatchers, four paints, brush) 25p
3m roll of corrugated cardboard 10p
Cars pencil case 10p
Cars notepad and pencil 10p
Robot large pad with pencil case, crayons and ruler 10p
Oil paints 10p
Canvases (round or A3 rectangle) 10p
Felt tip pens (3 colours on each pen, stacking style) 10p - three different pens
Packs of writing pens (fineline, one each blue, black, red) 10p
Large candle with balloons on 10p
Metal ruler (ideal for my son who is mad about woodwork) 10p
A3 art portfolio folders 10p
Pack of tacks for noticeboard 10p
Pack of two erasers 10p
I can't remember what else. I know that there were packs of invitations for 10p, for girls and boys parties, as well as one suitable for an adult party or wedding. There were bingo dabbers and markers, plastic 12" rulers and leads fro mechanical pencils as well - all 10p.
Last week I bought foam photo frame kits for 25p.
The 10p stuff was in Widnes and the suncatchers were in St. Helens. St. Helens also had DVDs for £2 - plenty of 15 and 18 films.
I bought for Brownies and Rainbows, and I'm thinking of a craft hamper for Christmas presents for them. I've also bought a few things for my own kids, as well as a few teacher presents (the decent writing pens, to go with other things already bought).
ETA: Just remembered, I bought some girls colouring books for 25p in St. Helens last week, and a different one from Widnes for 10p today. No boys colouring books about though.0 -
Is thinking that, even though I'm skint, I might have to nip to the Widnes store - I even have a day off work this week!!
