Have you tried signing up to survey websites, valuedopinions/swagbucks/mysurvey etc you can get vouchers for a wide variety of companies amazon, tesco, argos etc which can then be used to buy stuff by taking a few minutes out of your day to do them.
Plus technically anything bought with the vouchers is free as you're not 'spending' actual money
P.S. If you haven't signed up to these kind of things let me know and i'll send you a referal link, help me get my crimbo presents

Blimey Dundeedoll! What did you get your mum out of interest? I'm so nosey

Musman I already do surveys and the like (not as much as I could do mind).
I've found a present for my Brother-in-law http://www.zavvi.com/dvd/dara-o-briain-box-set/10565811.html £3.95 delivered! Will do him a movie night too. Need to find a mini bottle of Jack Daniels or decentish mini whisky for £1.05. I've no idea how much they are though so I don't know if it's even possible.
I must be so sad but it's such a buzz finding things under budget and being able to tick people off one by one. I never usually feel like I've got people enough no matter how much I spend because I've always bought it in a rush. And if something was heavily discounted I'd feel guilty that I've short changed them and buy them something else as well! Is that just me?0 -

3 more done!! After the puss in boots mistake (which I can't send back btw, will have to bootfair it) I found my 8yr nephew a new puss in boots Wii game instead for £4.95.
I've more or less finished my dads computer hamper with a usb glitter lamp I found on Viking for £1.99 (he loves glitter bless him!), some blank dvds and a pack of dvd pens at poundland. After adding the 2 cd wallets, mousemat, screen cloth and hand sanitizer I got the other day the total comes to £4.59. Will make the rest up in chocolates.
Stumbled across this last night while they had 11% off while the england match was on http://www.thehut.com/toys-construction/jcb-multi-construct-backhoe-loader/10455524.html For either my 3 or 4 year old nephew - total £4.44!0 -

I think this is a fantastic idea i love it and i love your ideas may steal afew from you.
You could try the mothercare sale in the grabbit section there are alot of good things on their website cheap and also ebay is fantastic for cheap stuff.
For fathers day i recently bought an old cigarette vending machine for £0.99 as my other halfs dad is making his own bar and thought this would be very fitting!
Good luck and I shall keep reading0 -
Thanks Kezza
Loving the idea of the old vending machine for the bar, genius!
When I've got all the bits through I'll take some pictures.
Off to look at the mothercare sales.............0 -
I am so inspired by your challenge, MrsMagpie. Have you seen all the cheapie kids DVDs on Amazon at the moment? Lots of Thomas the Tank, Bob the Builder type things for £2-2.50. Tesco also had lots of DVDs for £3 so might be worth a look too.
Another cheaply thing that I am going to do for my niece and step-sister is these http://allrecipes.com/recipe/cookie-mix-in-a-jar-i/ as I reckon they'd be dead easy to do.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

No I haven't seen them, will go have a look now

Cookies in jars would make an excellent family present you know, was thinking of baking some cookies but the jar idea is much cuter. Actually that link just reminded me of something I've pinned on pinterest, not sure where you would get the jars from or how much they would be, but I absolutely LOVE it!
