You have reminded me that I've bought lots of slankets in the Home bargains sale a few months ago, think I paid £1.50 for each adults one and £1 for the kids ones. Got enough for my 3 sisters, SIL, neice (24) and nephew (7), niece (4) and nephew (6).

I'm hoping to make lots of stuff this year, next door has a huge apple tree and they have said we can take every single apple :j
Looking good for chutney or something, need inspiration please!

Hoping to properly make things, like drawstring bags or something. Need to get my thinking cap on :)
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

Cookies in jars would make an excellent family present you know, was thinking of baking some cookies but the jar idea is much cuter. Actually that link just reminded me of something I've pinned on pinterest, not sure where you would get the jars from or how much they would be, but I absolutely LOVE it!

    Hi,

I've been following your thread with interest and for ideas. looking on Pinterest it says they are baby food jars, so free if you know someone who has a baby. They look brilliant.

    Good luck!

They are amazing! I made snowman soup a couple of years ago- DSC01469.jpg not sure if the pic will work.

I plan to do little jars of Jamie Oliver's Epic Hot Chocolate this year. Will have to ask friend's with little ones to save jars for me as baby food jars would be perfect. Recipe is here- http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/chocolate-recipes/epic-hot-chocolate.

I love doing edible gifts- even if I was rich and had unlimited budgets for people, I'd still make nibbles to include too :D.

Thanks for that Irisblue :) I don't know anyone who's using baby jars at the minute, I'll have to go make friends with someone who is! (or dig through their rubbish - so not cool :D)

Me too! I feel your pain. I had a load of them and threw them out last year as they were cluttering the kitchen cupboards up!

Good job I'm having another baby soon! :D
