John Lewis price match ?!

Thank you everyone for your replies seems to be a mixed bag of what I may get !
The reason I posted here was I couldn't my self see anything in there price match terms and conditions about only being able to claim once and know ing that John Lewis advertise a price match policy the price is something I have been watching ! I have had a number of problems with the purchase the main one being the item not being delivered in time for my sons second birthday but I digress. The manager who delt with my issues is calling me back this evening for me to discuss this with him , in no way do I expect a refund but don't want to miss out on something if I can get it ! Iykwim

That's a good point. It does refer to prices offered by other high street retailers.

Just a thought actually, seeing as you can return the goods for any reason for a full refund then buy them back, logically it'd be better for them if they just gave you the difference back on the spot, so to speak, rather than trying to do a competitor price match.
