Has to be [STRIKE]25p[/STRIKE] 60p/min according to http://www.virginmobile.com/vm/genericContent.do?contentId=paymonthly.ourTariff.standardcharges.shop.sm142
Have a look at http://callchecker.moneysavingexpert.com/intcallchecker/ireland/mobile/all0 -
Very few networks include international calls in inclusive minutes bundles, so you should expect to pay a hefty premium to make international calls, whether to Ireland or anywhere else abroad. Because the prices for international calls from mobiles are so high, it means there's rarely any differentiation between call charges to fixed lines or mobiles.0

Is there is a Skype application for your Blackberry ?

If Northern Ireland, there's no problem - but if you mean Eir!, then it'll be an International call.0

The calls are barred because your dialling an Intl Number ( Republic of Ireland )
What’s included in your Virgin minutes?
The airtime in your package can be used to make calls and send texts to any UK mobile network, any time! Calls to landlines (that’s numbers beginning with 01, 02 and 03) are included too, but calls to forwarding services aren’t.
Calls to the Republic of Ireland are clearly charged at a rip off 60p a minute on a new contract.(Includes calls to landlines and mobile phones.) I cant see how Grumbler thinks they are 25p.

Virgin have got you all ways. Because if you use up your inclusive minutes calling Southern Ireland via a cheaper 01/02/03 access number eg http://www.localphone.com/prices#country,ie they will charge you 40p a minute for any extra calls to UK Numbers.
If your parents are calling you http://www.13434.ie/rates.php may be useful.0 -

I used Ctrl+F and accidentally missed the first result.
25p is "For customers signing up to a new tariff before 28 June 2010. "0
