    Evening everyone
Went to Wickes with DH this morning and bought a 200ltr water barrel and stand and he connected it for me when we got home. My other two are only 100ltr ones, so DH wants to get another one next month.:D

I managed to get two loads of washing dry on the line before the heavens opened and we had a really good thunder storm, that put some water in the barrels. It doesn't seem to have got any cooler though :(

hilstep I hope that you are still resting x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

  • Good evening all,
Coming over very dull here. We are supposed to have a storm tonight. I hate storms, i think its because my Mum and Nana terrified me when i was little.
Hester, so sorry to hear your news.
ButterflyBrain, we have 3 of the ibc containers over on our allotment, they hold 1000 litres in each one. Not the prettiest of things but does the job. Don't know if i would want in the garden unless i had somewhere out of the way i could put it. We have water butts behind the garage. As we are on a water meter we would be lost without those.
Have got second load of washing on the go. If it is nice tomorrow i'll hang it out, if not it will have to go on the airer.
Am hoping to have an early night, once i have put the chickens away. Hubby is at work so i will have the bed to myself, lovely.
Hope everyone has a good night and hugs to those who need them.
    FS x
The storm has started, i hear thunder in the distance

Hi chums had a nice day at my sis-in-laws and she gave me a bottle of the spices I was looking for so didn't have to spend any cash at all today from my food purse. Car service cost a bit but its essential as I can't afford to leave it as I don't do car repairs :) They even checked my tyres out for air for me bless 'em.Clapped out joints mean I have difficulty bending to do the pressures. The lads at the garage are lovely and look after me very well.
Just off to have a read of my Kindle as its a bit hot and sticky for sleep just yet
Good night, God bless all here
