I have not seen at all and I am impressed! The old kitchen looks so pretty now! I like the delicate rows of brick bonding.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Or is it in the London place?
Think the Herts posse are closest, but new town isn't in Herts.0 -

Oh, gosh, I was going to post pics wasn't I!
Yep, it looks incredible. That room the ceiling is under debate on colour, but dh wants a quite bright 'aqua' turquoise. (with gold, obviously) walls. We saw some GORGEOUS and perfect wall paper, but pricey. I am considering buying an overhead projector and tracing on something similar with paint (it's tree silhouettes). Eventually it will be mainly book lined (with white and distressed old gold book shelves) so a bright colour will not be too much.
(depending on the lapis lazuli and gold ceiling discussion result...you know the things you realise in retrospect you should never have mused on out loud?)0 -

LIR only posted the pictures to demonstrate that the nice builder has been doing some building and not merely being friendly to a nice lady whose dh is away all weekI think....0 -
I'm sure we or any of the other Herts NP could put you up for a few weeks if it is not to far to commute whilst you looked for permanent accommodation.
That is incredibly nice, but I should be ok. I think I have found somewhere, have exchanged multiple (and lengthy) messages with someone, and I think we are on the verge of agreeing. If all else fails I will find a B+B for a few weeks and look whilst I am in the area (it isn't great trying to look when you're not that close and don't have your own car).
If any of the NP have a back-up job on the other hand... :rotfl:0 -

God, I pity any guy with accusation levied against him. He has however seen me in pjs more than once, and otherwise almost exclusively in old sweats and horse clothes. It's not attractive. Specially with the lank hair, dodgy skin and lack of personal attention this summer.
That old biddy in last of the summer wine likes bloody sexy in comparison ATM.0 -

I've always wanted to buy an overhead projector! I used to do lots of stuff with them at art college, have wanted one for nearly 20 years but never got one. I used to hand paint things when I had no kids and time, but I've ended up buying vinyl wall stickers recently. And now you can use projectors attached to the 'puter (starts pondering about borrowing one from work!)
You can justify expensive wallpaper in bathrooms and kitchens by the virtue it's cheaper than tiling
I like secret colour, like fancy lining on an otherwise serious suit. I like the colour inside these kitchen units. http://www.plainenglishdesign.co.uk/longhouse.htmlEverything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
