I think I have an answer (not sure whether it counts as a riddle or not). But I cheated!
!'m frightened to ask what cheating means.
Do you want to PM the answer?;)Cheating = asking google for a hint!
Edit - if its not the answer, its a good fact (assuming its true)
I agree. Anybody know the answer without using a search engine? There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -
God help me; my riddles never last long on this thread! I suppose it's a general knowledge question rather than a riddle, but a bit of an obsscure one.

sorry for being weak willed! Been a bit of a stressful day... Got bridesmaid dress back from being altered and now can't do it up. Also on the verge of signing up with somewhere to live in new town, butstill not convinced I.have a job to go with it. Those are my excuses anyway!0 -

But actually, it's not so different to what it was originally, only without cracks and huge brick piers (forgotten the correct word) holding it up! There is a bulge in the wall (maintaining original line) and a dip in the roof, so it doesn't look like a twee extention I hope, just what was there cleaned up. Windows are identical there, only, not rotten!
Sound great... Like it was before but better0 -
By how much does it not fit nikkster? Any chance of a cabbage soup diet quick fix?
Btw, being a mucus membrane expert, does that make the gifts you give friends at weddings a bit...well.....prepared for the honey moon?
I know this sounds crazy but I remember learning the term mucus membrane in biology and loving it.0 -

I'm going to see the alteration lady again on Sun. Hopefully she didn't trim too much. Dress was slightly gapey before. Now can't do up last couple of cm of zip, and material looks a bit under duress! Bit annoyed really. She was going to put a dart in then changed her mind (fair enough), but took in too much at the side seam.
Present will he from the ubiquitous John Lewis list so.should be mucous membrane free
I'm no expert anyway, looked at more blood cells than anything else!0 -
