Damp and grey here, but no water actually falling out of the sky just ATM.

Today is the last day of the quarter for my solar panels. 2421kWh over almost 9 months - so just a fraction over £1100. Not expecting a lot more today to increase the final total before I send the meter reading off tonight, but pleased with it all the same. :)

Edit: 20 minutes later and now there is lots of water falling out of the sky. This tends to mean that next door's children will be inside my house rather than in my garden.

Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.

anyone else tempted to put the heating on? (bar lir of course, who doesn't have central heat)

It's on at ours. Not because I was tempted, but Mrs. Wheezy is always, always, always cold! A week ago, when we had that warm weather, I was sweating like a pig, but she needed an extra blanket in the evening cos it was 'chilly' :)
And ds was very good with the dogs. Kids like that, and dd, who my dogs loved immeadiately, are dog safe imo, and i relax. Running squealers might be confused with rabbits,

Westie is very good with kids, but running squealers are a problem as he immediately goes after them. (yippi! play! noise! fun! woohoo!). Running squealers should be banned from public places. If you wanna run and squeal, do it at home!

    Are you married to me?

It's a bit cloudy here, but relatively speaking quite a nice day. Won't last...

Does anyone know whether the thread over immigration was pulled? Can't see it today. Such a shame that it seemed to be decending into a slanging match. Again.
Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Yep, thats the problem with runnilng squealers. The worst ones are the ones with dogs of their own, who think other dogs are going to eat their dogs. Or people who fail to understand that yelling at some one who owns a dog can make the dog feel defensive nad protective and be a self fulfilling prophesy.

Piggy snorting and squealing at her bucket with joy.

Disconcerting, but... how lovely that she has joy that she wants to express. :)

immigration is one of those issues that is impossible to discuss sensibly, like religion and mushrooms, it brings out the inner fanatic.
