I've got some of youngest's works of art on the walls......and I don't mean the school ones either. Such a shame art at school made him stop drawing/painting, he really could do some very decent pictures but now he just will not pick up his pencils at home, so no more art work.
Mind you, he uses his art skills in geography of all things, he is a master map drawer with the tiniest of details included.
My neighbour's daughter is a cartographer.....so there could be a career in it for your youngest.
My sympathy on the offputting art classes. The art teachers my daughter had were all more into art than into teaching it....0 -

Is it still true that if I wish to see the crown jewels I may be sent to the Tower? Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Sorry, I meant to ask before now and the thread's moved on, but what does the manual say? 3 years without so much as an oil change sounds an awfully long time. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? to be fair it has only done 6,100 miles in that time so...
the one time they did actually agree to service it, they changed the oil and the oil filter, i think. i don't pay much attention, except when i'm fitting it with a massively noisy exhaust and getting the engine remapped which is totally necessary for the weekly 2 mile round trip to waitrose.0 -
I am fed up of the house thing now. Not the builders, wish they cpu.d stay for ever. But the buying stuff.
I finally found a modern loo i ilke (builder said he would make antique loo work if i REALLY wanted it but architec, who can be quite scary, just raised his eyebrows, he is a bit like a husband really, he got the bits dh and i did not of restraint.
I just cannot find a cloak room sink we both like though. (apart from the one that is £750, and parent dislikes that one).0 -

worst. chick flick. ever.
having said that i am watching a film called Easy A.
"When unassuming teen Emma Stone is mistakenly branded as "easy", her life quickly spirals out of control. Razor sharp teen comedy..."
So....guess I'll shut up and watch that programme about Stoke Mandeville on iplayer.0
