New pills have me piddling three times an hour minimum. Sometimes i widdle, go downstairs, sit on sofa, stand straight up and go back.
Its a mean joke to give a person a pill that acts as a diuretic then say drink 4 litres minimum.0 -

I would sooo love one of those. As it is, I'm having to swap one man who does (my window cleaner) for a different one (gardener) as I don't have budget for both:(. My garden really needs doing now.
Also.... being a vegetarian, I don't like cold meats for breakfast so have reported that giant heap of spam just above me.
ETA: for clarity - as the post has now been deleted - just want to say I wasn't talking about lir! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Sunny, sunny, sunny here... signing up to new storage and starting to lug everything between the two though ... bl00dy slowyly as I've postural hypertension (lift one box... feel dizzy ... wait ... do next one ... after 3-4 think I'm going to die and stop). It'll take me a few days/trips to get it all moved.
I guess this qualifies as the walking wounded ... but the walking bit is confined to a few feet at a time.0 -
I fell this morning, and though i think it was just an accident i am worried in case it was one of my fail falls. I am pretty sure it was uneven ground and dew covered grass combo though.
Thursday is architect day these days, and the chap who designed the fireplace is coming.0 -

I am more and more certan it was just a slip now.
I had a zimmer fram when i was in mid twenties. It was exceptionally depressing.
Now waiting to get news of other nieces results. I feel very cross about whole situation with that family and my relationship with them and the conflict of love and responsibility v self preservation and sanity atm.0 -

well, whilst your builders are there, why not have them install a toilet in front of the TV? you could have it gold plated like the one wayne and waynette slob had, and have a butler on hand with the toilet paper. not that i'm suggesting that you are waynette slob, but it did seem like a good idea to me...0 -

My wet room in halls of residence had an areangement where if you put a tv in the right place you could see it from the loo or the shower, or worryingly, both at the same time!
Tv in loo sounds better than loo in sitting room. But only moderately.0 -

I thought a sink was a sink ....
Neither do i often enough. Then i look. Then i want. Or want to joke about. Or both.
The way i see it, a lot in life has to be utilitarian, but where things can raise a smile pf pleasure, appreciation or satisfaction, or thought or any form of enjoyment, then.......why not? It seems to me less offensive to be a person with a tacky sink and a smiley positive outlook on life but a tasteful and standard sink with a superior smirk or a fear of trying something new, or a blindness to the many things that can, given opportunity bring those small happinesses into life.
Yesterday, for the first time in weeks and weeks because of the dogs have been in season and be having been asleep, dog dog came into the sittting room and lay on my lap. Her sigh of deep and utter contentment made even parent laugh. Every now and again she looked up for a quick kiss. Thats the really important sort of pleasure, to her, but...a nice bit of trouser to bark at perks her up. The things i am looking up are simply perk you up pleasures. They don't change the world or jave significant iompact on one's body chemistry, but they can make day to day life a bit .....more fun.0
