Plebs.
I am not sure of you are calling us or the artists plebs.
We bought two more (cheap) paintings by our orange man. The idea is to collate a decontructed natura morte/still life in a mordern vein in our old house as a sort of statement on the time
Essness of that sort of art within the architecture of our home. We have crossed the line in to pretentious yuppies, but its one minor transgression.
We notice our chap seems to have started a trend. I have seen an ornage i like as much as ours, but we already have an orange. Dh thinks we should be looking for something like a fig or a pomegranite for christmas.0 -

I'd get something if I liked it to hang on the wall and if it were cheap ..... that's the limit of my ability to string together a sentence about art.0 -

And frankly the best and only reason to do it.
what we are doing is essentially the same but using other peoples art to make a sort of collage piece of our own.....otherwise called...curating. :rotfl:0 -
I've got some of youngest's works of art on the walls......and I don't mean the school ones either. Such a shame art at school made him stop drawing/painting, he really could do some very decent pictures but now he just will not pick up his pencils at home, so no more art work.
Mind you, he uses his art skills in geography of all things, he is a master map drawer with the tiniest of details included. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

Scarily funny. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I'd never buy this Sky malarkey ... far too many channels.... far far too many.... I press up/up/up or down/down/down until I come across something that's OK/watchable... and I watch it. There's too many channels to press through every one to see what there is .... it'd take hours to decide.0
