I snapped..... completely sanitized the minging microwave. Flattie won't recognise their 'clean home' when they get back..... it'll have been OCD'd.
    :)

Top tip: don't ever invite me round.... I'll develop an irrational desire to clean something.... not everything, just one thing will be making me chomp at the bit.

Omg, come and visit me, Quickly.

I just have done NOtHINg bar swipe a duster about yesterday. Today i felt a bit more vigourous still, so did some dead heading and cleared plath from front door to gate with the hedge cutter. Thats it. The state of the place depresses me, but though i am feeling a lot better i don't have any stamina.

Good lord no..... your place has far too much that could be done :)

You just need one comfy sofa and one low table beside it ... kept clean and clear.... so you can slump on them and do nothing :)

The last row of bricks ate going into the outside wall NOW. Its been a really beautiful thing to watch the bricks first come down and my study look like a pagoda (how some NP saw it) to now having walls again. Some time ago I think some other family were having this 'extension' put on and I wonder how they were feeling about it all.

My beautiful piece of wood at the bottom of the door (don't know what that is called) is rotten. We wanted to save it, but we cannot, its just too far gone. So now I have to add 'two worn old bits of wood for doorway floors' to the list of stuff we need.

Threshold? The bit you step on? Or the sticking out bit attached to the door that deflects water away?

DS first subject remark's back and he's gone up a grade - so met his offer.

Why don't they take more care with these things?

At least we will get the £50 per paper remark fee back.

It got worse.... I'm now tackling the supergross fridge.... 2 years of not being cleaned or defrosted and not even wiped down... with all manner of spillages. Ice in box almost fills the box. This could take me some time.... it just drove me nuts, even though I'll not really benefit from it. Congealed milk that's so bad it looks like a pint of wee and leftovers from a meal cooked a week ago ..... and when I went to throw that away I realised there was a cornucopia of week old food-related delights in the grubby bin .... so the bin's been emptied and is also mid-way through being sterilised and made fit for humans....

Good, thanks viva. My lovely DS is home from uni and has just cooked my dinner. :)

    Hope you're well.
