if i won the UK lottery i'd just rent it out for a couple of weeks!
Actually that pic just put me off. I HATE conversions that challange things like original windows, I would rip that room right out. Or get doozer boy to do it.0 -

I'd replace all that gravel/shrubbery with soft silky sand of course.
It's had 25% slashed off the price recently.... so probably 'a bargain'
But its rendered!:D0 -

One of the things about maintenance is you have to consider your ability in the future to pay for maintenance stuff.... until you've Euromillions in your pocket.
I'm not against the aesthetics, it's the financial commitment of render/paint that worries me.0 -

with euromillion you might even be able to afford to pay someone to do it every few years.
if it was me i'd paint it vile green or flourescent pink, and stick a pimped up humvee on the drive, because that's what lottery winners should do.0 -

That's absolutely gorgeous, I can see why you like it. I notice a trend though that features in both of our preferences. Why is it that when you go over say, £7m for a house you get built in gargoyles?
Perhaps I shouldn't mention the gargoyles though, Pastures might sneak them on her wish list;).Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

There was a £60 million odd Lottery winner in Hertfordshire in June that hasn't claimed...Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

If it got beyond half a dozen bits and bobs I'd probably splash out on renting studio space (which is cheap) elsewhere.
Again, I've got a covenant that says 'no businesses', and there are still 6 businesses registered on CH to the address, with clients often staying the night, as it saves me splashing out on hotels.
The amount of foreign-registered vehicles visiting the address for a few days has to be higher than the majority of hotels in the area!
Saying that, they don't park in the way or cause any problems, so I can't see what the problem is!
