Have you looked at the BBC Weather 3 hourly graphics for Hertfordshire Viva?!
I have now:(. I even tried netweather in the vain hope of getting a better answer. I didn't. When typing in netweather I accidentally typed newteather. It feels like I'm newly tethered to my house now. Oh well, at least MotoGP is about to start. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Really, it's not been too bad here. A few downpours, and in between, some good sunny/part sunny bits. :j
Crucial time was 7.30 - 9.30 when were putting up the marquee, and then it hardly rained at all.
We had a 60 gun salute from the top of the church tower at 12.00.
All the rooks survived.
The bring & share lunch was much as usual, with table groaning under the weight of pasties, pies and cream cakes. The healthy option here is just to eat one less of everything....
We are meeting a vicar here at home any time now, and later on I have to collect a big mower I bought on eBay, so it looks like I will miss the 4 hours of country dancing.....Shame!!! :rotfl:0 -
We are still waiting to go out....why does it take so long for the male species to get ready! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

Bring N Share lunch would have been something I'd have looked into .... (6 pack of Walkers crisps cut the mustard?).
The world is dominated by kids and families .... and these type of days just makes it moreso. Nothing going on here at all... well, there's some march of some old blokes with a marching band at an unspecified time and no route published.... or a hotel has fired up a BarBQ and you can go and buy a burger from them.
Neither actually count do they.0 -
Was planning to get some gardeing done today (well strimming and mowing TBH as I'm not exactly green-fingered.) but thought the weather would stop me.
The sun's come out though so I've no excuse. :mad:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Dh strimmed about two acres in two and a quarter hours yesterday. I was pretty impressed. Shame its the tip of the iceberg:rotfl:0 -
Pn, some of the villages round here have really social stuff going on, cream tea in the village hall for example. Not my thing, but if i were single, good way to go and meet people, have a hot drink and just get out cheaply.0

I have no idea what is going on but I have been out in the lottie weeding for about 2 hours.
cleared the fruit patch, you can tell they weren't planning on being there long when in a square foot boundary they have rhubarb and 2 gooseberries (I fear I will be moving them later).
The rain last night softened the ground enough so must get outside later to do more. If there is rain, I need to swap out the compost in the greenhouse for nice new topsoil, plant out tomatoes and sow a thousand beans as we now have the allotment and I have nothing else planned that I like to eat as much.
Picked about 5 kilos of rhubarb though :j0 -

Or they just spend ages 'prettying' themselves up....they get it from their father, I can be ready in less than 20 minutes including having a bath and washing/drying my hair. They appear to not be able to have a bath in less than 30 minutes and as for getting dressed etc? Well, give them an hour or so and they might be ready.
I think my many years of dancing and doing shows have allowed me to do the quick change thing....back then, it was a full change of clothing and make up in less than 3 minutes! We made it!
