I can't remember if I mentioned it or not, but BA has an interactive version of the London Calling advert where you can get the plane to pass your house.

Just go to http://taxi.ba.com/ and add your postcode. I've tried it with my old house and my parents' house and its ok but I love it when I use it on mine, it goes straight past my front door.
I just tried it - it went down the street, but it was 3-4 doors away from the house; it showed the neighbours' instead.

Talking of coincidences, in speaking with those London creative types yesterday it turned out that they'd stayed in a flat that my olds had stayed in when they first relocated..... and the flat was 5 doors down from the house my olds then bought. It's a short road of about 20 houses, so that's a big coincidence. They'd stayed there in ~1999, my olds had stayed/bought in 1995.

    Water features:
    15 outside taps :o
    A stream
    An occasional pond
A very large puddle 17m long, which the council are 'doing something' about. :(

EDIT: How could I forget three septic tanks? Oh, and a dodgy outflow from another one due for investgation soon. It's not my effluent.

Coincidences. My DD2's Indian boyfriend went to the same London junior school as me, but somewhat later, of course! :)

At our recent wedding, the public-sector employed bridesmaid knocked spots off everyone else when it came to organising the big clear-up. :p

The guy who's just resigned from Currys was pretty damn good too.

I was rubbish, but I'm a pensioner, so allowed to be a bit indecisive & doddery. Besides, I was *****ed out! :rotfl:

There might be a room in my daughter's house during the summer hols if you want me to ask.

It's OK. All nice ladies and no mushrooms on the skirting boards, honest! :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Really oddly this morning we were the only dog walkers. I would have thpught it would be busier than usual as people went early to avoid the heat? Anyway, the dogs are suitably exercised, even though there was no one else to play with.

Waiting now to hear what the schedule might be for the next week. Still feeling very chilled and relaxed from the weekend.

Is there off road parking? That's one of my biggest limiters..... it's not much to look at but I am precious about my car/insurance/safety.

Oh - and not on the 2nd floor as I'm not good with stairs due to dyspraxia and something I can't remember the name of, but it means if I carry a box or two up 2 flights of stairs and haven't dropped anything, thenn I'll need a sit down for 10 minutes as I get light-headed (some low blood sugar thing).

Edit: Found it, it's Postural Hypertension. Everything's OK until you move.... then the blood doesn't sort itself out quickly enough. You'll never see me rushing about; I might cover distance, but never fast.

Blimey - you lot must be busy ..... I've been out, shop at Sandbanks had the little tent I wanted, so I got that and then camped out on the beach .... paddled to my knees, but water's a bit chilly :)

Sat in my tent for about 1.5 hours then came home. It's HOT, HOT, HOT out there.... scorchio!!!

No 'fraid not. DD only has a bike. There's a lot of biking in B during term time. :)

Up-side: it's near Asda and she knows when to look for Whoopsies..
