Do you? Blimey - there really IS no accounting for taste!!
There's a telly programme this week where some bloke's been monitoring class and taste :)

    :)

We've just been to a posh London restaurant to celebrate eldest b'day. Chosen by eldest who was complaining that we should have introduced the boys to "refined eating" as children.

Location was brilliant, but a right pain to get to, particularly as we drove in case I couldn't manage long walks changing trains/ tubes.

    Service was excellent.

Menu was exciting and interesting, portion sizes small but adequate.

But me and youngest didn't like the food. Give us solid food with straight forward flavours. OH and eldest thought the food was amazing. So half of us have posh tastes.

Today, I have done 1 hour of boxercise (ouch), ate thai for lunch, had a facial and a massage and now am having pizza made for me.
Today I did nothing... I had sweet & sour chicken/egg fried rice for breakfast, ate 4 chocolate biscuits, then had cheapo noodles and a tin of mushy peas for an early tea.

We have put the metal detector away. (phew).

We were going to put a curtain pole up but seems a bit silly as it is in room to be bathroom that we are now plannning, so will be a building site so they will just take it down again. We have another one, to put up, but no fittings for it, rofl.

Btw, my mother didn't mention the dead heading, helped me weed all day and then said she was amazed the border looked so mature after just one full year and that, brace yourselves because i had not, i had certainly done a good and unusual planting scheme.

    Give me strength!

Dh bought a metal detector. We now have holes all around the place and a collection of old bent nails. He brings each new one recovered from the ground show me with a huge grin a if it were treasure.

Not as bad as our cat, who used to bring home little bits of disembowelled mouse to delight us.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Well now that depends on whether or not you want to encourage metal detecting;)

Given I've called poor fir a puppy, I think that's the least I can do. Um, if I win of course. At least I have a ticket, so you are in with a chance, albeit a very, very, outside one:o
