Reading in the bath is WRONG!!!!
Seperates NP's almost as much as the food chat...:DIt's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Well, lj, thank you. It might be helpful. Problem is lots of places do not make bras for big knockers. I don't suppose you have ever noticed if your friends are unusually blessed in the chest department?
I will have a look if i ever get to leave this stupid phone.
My 'emergency' refereal looks like it might be three weeks. I was told it was urgent enough to be seen this week, whipch would have been nice, but there is no space.
Bupa have agreed to cover me (pretty amazing with my exclusions) but i cannot get a xonsultants appt for this till the end of the month beginning of next.
My gp surgery have actually been really helpful. But their advice as they come to the end of their working day is that rhey have done everything they can and they think i should go to a and e and try and queue hop that way.0 -

reading in bath is much better than it used to be, as now you can just stick your kindle in a plastic bag and don't have to worry about splashing and ruining your book.0 -

I've had good results with the cheap M&S ranges. Smooth and lightly laced.
Probably like these two:

They seem to last well (years).0 -

Re the GP/consultants stuff, on the positive side, at least there is progress! It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -
Kind thoughts & wishes silvercar. Nothing that can be said will be of much help right now, but keep your friends & loved ones close...It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0

I am having another nodding off at my desk day today. It seems to happen most often after I have had a better nights sleep. Go figure
i always have the same problem. being a terrible insomniac i often go to work having not slept at all, and never have any trouble with staying awake and am usually on good form. if i somehow manage to get 8+ hours, then i can barely function the next day, until i've been to the gym - after that i'll be fine. however, i normally go after work, so annoyingly i spend the whole day yawning and then in the evening when i'd prefer to be dozing on the sofa / going to sleep i am wide awake.
i think there is something wrong with whichever bit of my brain it is which is supposed to tell me to be awake when it's light and sleep when it's dark.0 -
We had 2 whole days of no rain at the weekend! Amazing.

Yesterday evening (I think), the air was thick with the sound of lawnmowers around here. Not us though, we did it between showers on Wednesday ready for the garden waste collection on Thurs. We have a thing about getting things into the bin before collection rather than just after0
