Were you expecting to go in today for some kind of procedure, or was this a new problem? Are you OK? (Codeine has always been magic for me whenever I've had bad pain - neck problems, migraines, post-partum cramping: codeine has fixed all of them. Hope it works for you in the short term, but hope there's some more lasting improvement soon.)Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

No, was not expecting to go in but had to to get drugs. I am NOW fine! I am hoping to have the other scan this week. I don't like being on 'unnecessary' painkillers longer than necessary. I had a really nice doctor this morning too, so on a purely psychological basis that was helpful. Any way. I have a potential client coming this afternoon, so just off to 'paint over any cracks' and be ready to wow :rotfl:0 -

A question for all NP!
... What colour dials do the NP have? Mine are orange0 -
Stocked up on nibbles.... stuff that'll get me through .... 6 bananas, 2 packs of couscous, 6 packs of noodles, small tin of peas with a ring-pull, some sweet chilli sauce (not really sure why that was a bit random really) .. and some sausage rolls (which have to be eaten in the next 2-3 hours really as they're pork at a guess). Won't starve0

Thanks everyone for the transportation advice earlier in the week. We went to see Queen and Adam Lambert at Hammersmith on Wednesday (Jub/Pic lines) and in the end as DH was unwell drove into London last night to see Swing Out Sister with a big band in Islington. Only 40 mins door to door so a good journey.
The roads were full of nutters though. I had forgotten how bad the standard of driving can be in London. Someone tried to drive into me on the A1 because they just didn't look and see my car in the lane they wanted to move into. Thankfully I have a very load horn and anticipated that I was about to be broadsided and shoved into the Armco. However the most amazing driver was the pizza delivery kid with a death wish who went flying into a car that was quite clearly reversing and not moving in the same forward direction. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Some nut job started a thread about if everybody fed a dog an egg, it would do wonders for the Dairy Industry. You get some strange sorts down at the 'Arms'0 -

Sounds great! I saw Queen back in '75! There's a house between Holland Park and Shepherds bush IIRC with a blue plaque 'cos Freddie lived there.
Swing out Sister. Blimey; you need to spend some time hanging around this thread here.
Shame about the london drivers. You know all those people who put Jedi on the census form? They all live in London, where they all drive around with their eyes shut and just "using the Force". Only way you can explain the driving!:mad:There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Have a care! You should see what this forum looks like from the outside? Anyway here's another thread started by the same OP - and do check out his/her homepage (and make of it what you will)!
Edit; They've removed another thread so I've switched to another. Catch it while you canThere is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Agreed, I meant to mention that, however the NP thread is ring fenced!
Edit
This one's even better.....
