As you can clearly read from a screen, why not pop over to the Saki site GDB posted a few days ago and read a short story- they're only a few minutes each.
Or for some non-fiction, try the Squashed Philosophers site and have an accelerated philosophy course.
I don't have the ability to read lots of text on screens.... just short stuff. I've also not got the attention span to read a whole story/book anyway.... I can't retain the information. It's just words to me ... and I lose the plot. I'm pretty much the same with films. Most films confuse/lose me - and most of the characters look the same, so I often can't work out what's going on. I think some of these issues are aspie-related due to not being able to visualise, not being able to read body language, problems with recognition of people and then the processing of verbal stuff.

I stick to short stuff :)

    Brilliant!

    A question for all NP!

I drove OH's car last night for the first time when it's dark, and really love her dials. What colour dials do the NP have? Mine are orange :(

What's really worrying me is that with more than half a tank in it, it's saying 164 to empty. Press the 'trip' button once and it shows the true mileage that the car has done (I know this as it caught me out last night, wondering why it's going down).

    There's a place where there are markets Fri-Sun http://www.wimbornemarket.co.uk/find-us
So I thought "How far is it" - under 10 miles it turns out, so I thought: "I'll go there.... let's see if I can go by bus".

Well, I keyed in the from/to by postode and the first bus isn't until 10:08 .... ah, yes, it's Sunday. Then I scrolled down and the end point indicated it was a 4 hour journey! 4 hours, I thought, let's look at the map.... bus goes almost straight, then I inspected the route in the wording.... it seems you get on 3 buses over the 1.5 hours or so .... then you have to walk for 2.5 hours :)

Oh well.... car it is then :)

Our ensite is 8x6.6 and has a walk in wet area shower with a side panel and a standalone both. The toilet is wall hng with a concealed cistern but I admit the basin is small and there is no bidet. As DG states, it only works with the door in the centre of the long side.

Also, i have to account for a sash window, too low for anything to go infront of i think.

No doubt tho, fewer yellow lines would equal higher council tax....

Thinking about it though, double yellows you could have been ticked over night as well. Council here prevented pretty much all on street parking in the central area and patrol it even late in to the evening - no doubt it raises revenue through fines/car park charges. It also stops us coming in to town and spending money as the carparks are distant and dodgy looking...still not the councils problem is it.
    I think....

That's why I think these sites would be ideal. Nothing's very lengthy and you can sample them briefly and see what you think.
It bothers me to think there may be better resources (as in book summaries, short stories, out there that I don't know about).
If any NPs find any, please let us know.:)

    I get free parking :D

Double yellows could mean more cycle lanes, which would mean more money being spent on policing for this sort of thing, though!
