Spooky, that was pretty close to what middle son almost posted on Sunday.....but in ex's world, I would still be to blame because as far as he is concerned, he has done no wrong.
What an idiot. Perhaps they should ask him a direct question: what exactly have you done this year that constitutes being a dad to us?PasturesNew wrote: »I have what might be a linen top .... and the minute you put it on it permanently creases. I've never understood why people wear linen because it just creases instantly and permanently. By the time you arrive anywhere you look like you've just been unravelled from the depths of a bag lady's trolley.
The top I have comes to about "crease of leg/torso" length ... so I put it on, I get in the car to go out somewhere... get out of the car and the front's creased and remains permanently flipped up like a shelf... and I look crumpled.
This is how I feel about linen too.Do you know anyone who's bereaved? Point them to https://www.AtaLoss.org which does for bereavement support what MSE does for financial services, providing links to support organisations relevant to the circumstances of the loss & the local area. Tyre performance in the wet deteriorates rapidly below about 3mm tread - change yours when they get dangerous, not just when they are nearly illegal (1.6mm).
Oh, and wear your seatbelt. My kids are only alive because they were wearing theirs when somebody else was driving in wet weather with worn tyres.0 -

Why's the suit not acceptable? That's what I used to do. If it was a Saturday I'd put on a blazer and chinos.0 -
Just wondeing why chewy doesn't wear the kaftan with tweed and a cravat.0

I'm not sure 'we have a gardening service to cut the grass' puts you in to the 'not grown up' category on that metric
I reckon once the kids have left home we can ditch all the responsibilities and thus reduce our scores back down to something more satisfying....only 15 years to go :eek:You've been chatty today!
Out of 50 I score very high, embarrassingly high! Not a full 50 because we don't possess a lawn mower, plus one or two others.I think....0 -

surely you get 2 points instead of 1, because instead of having a lawnmower, you have a gardener who comes along and mows perfect stripes into your lawn!0 -

So, finally my belongings aren't 30' in the air... but I couldn't add to them because the man that's doing some work inside wants to start at 5.30am so has the (only) key.....
... and that's how everything works down this way.0 -
So ... not sure I achieved much today to be honest. I probably achieved something, but not a lot. It's been scorchio this afternoon and I missed it as I was loading the car, then loitering with intent to offload the car.... and then thwarted. Aborted missions take a lot of time.0
