That would mean measuring the furniture:eek:

I just need to see it in place really. :o

I might end up with it back where it started:rotfl:
I'm like that - can't visualise. Until it's in a new spot and you're sitting looking at it for 1-2 days ..... it's hard to tell.

And you will be nearer stuff generally.
I plan to set my alarm for 2am ... just to experience 24 hour shopping for food :)

I go in the middle of the night at peak times of year. Much more civilised.

I agree - England are pretty poor - I beleive in their last friendly match they only recorded a win as the result of the woeful level of the opposition.

I find it easier to move little bits of paper than big bits of furniture.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Can I make a big request? Could we have a separate thread for football, please? And the Olympics.

I move big bits of furniture with my legs. I still have really strong legs, My dh finds it hilarious. I sit on the floor and push. Only the desk is heavy, and that is only moving a tiny bit each time. The main things moving are the sofas. We have liliputian furniture in our sitting, no big sofas. Which is part of the problem, fewer big things would look better.

The problem with paper is both thats its fiddly and doesn't count for stuff like eyelines. A change i made yesterday means the paneled bit of wall under the window, the nicest thing in the room imo, is now in view. But on paper that would have been harder to show. Ultimately, it might not be if i swap sofa 1 and day bed again, which i might.

Yep,Furniture all m back where it was but for one change, my parents are giving me a plain coffee table which one will bring over tomorrow, so have pushed the old trunk i have been using to the corner of the room behond a door.

My friends toddler came today and i asked if he liked the room blue and he said 'sohkay, need be clean now?' i asured him its the same rules so he ran and got cat biscuits from under the stairs, chucked them around the room and said 'better now, cats like it'. So really, who cares about furniture layout :)

Fascinating programme just started on BBC4 - about the A303 road. Looking at history along the route.
