Looking at the size of them, I'd say they look like on-ears, like the Beats (which I own). Your entire ear can't fit inside, as opposed to something like the Grado PS1000. I'm a trainee music producer, so I'm pretty certain. Without seeing the dimensions though, all I can do is compare them to the PS1000's which are evidently over-ear.
