Hiya (new to this)
I just want abit of advice really, I am a few days late getting paid and my employer is not answering any of my calls/texts/emails regarding this. i am owed a months work and I am really worried that this company wont pay be as other employees have had the same problem.
I have been to citizens advice who basically said they are breaking the law by not paying me and gave me a employment advice number who told me to write a greivance lettern and wait 14 days which i have done (but have not waited)
does anyone know of a quicker way to get them to pay me as i really need to pay my rent and will be kicked out otherwise. totally annoyed with the company and I am prepared to take them to court in the long run but really, i would much rather settle it out of court as its abit longwinded.
thanks in advance - to anyone who has a good idea!

You are employed or freelance? Surely if you work for a firm you just go and ask where is my pay?0 -
i would love to do that but i have no clue to where the head office is or if they even have one. all i have are the managers email addresses or telephone numbers - no one answers texts or calls or emails - i have tried googling them and nothing
good idea though0 -
i have a contract with them and i was employed in one of their offices with an hourly wage0

You say my employer, then you say you have a contract, then you say I was employed.
Please clarifymake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
i worked for a company until last week, i left because of them not paying me so now they were my employers (sorry to be confusing). i said i have a contract so it shows that its was a proper job and i have in writing that they are late paying me0

so you are waiting on the last payment from them? the money you are owed?i worked for a company until last week, i left because of them not paying me so now they were my employers (sorry to be confusing). i said i have a contract so it shows that its was a proper job and i have in writing that they are late paying me
Did you walk out or give notice? How long had you been there?
When is the payroll run? If you have just walked out they are not going to run the payroll just for you.
Write to them!0 -
i understand that but the payroll is done on different dates for different people so the date you started on is the date you get paid. also done by a bank transfer. i gave them the contracted notice period of leaving.
I think i will carry on digging the internet for some sort trading address so that i can do as replys 1&2 suggested and just wait. was only asking as i need a sort of quick fix and im scared the company will go bust before i can get my money0 -

They haven't paid you? When is your usual pay date?0 -

Try looking through any paperwork you have for them and see if there is a company registration. you can then get the main address from companies house0
