I do not understand what the problem is if you only left one week ago?

They haven't paid you? When is your usual pay date?
    t (

the problem is that i was already late in getting paid when i left (the reason for leaving). they are late paying my monthly wage and I have direct debits/rent due out on the date that i am contracted to be paid, it has gone past that date now so i have been charged by the bank and I cant get behind on my rent.
there is also the problem with the company not telling me whats going on and when they are going to pay me - they have no reason to not paying me and they have done it to past employees as well which does not make me feel very confident.

csmw - cheers i have found a trading address on there but on google maps it just looks like a house not an office that i can go to, but i will send my letters of complaint up there

If you are so dependant on this salary and your in the doo doo re your rent etc. What are you going to do till you get a new job to pay your way.

When were you supposed to get paid.

Why not just go to your place of work, and see your boss.

im not desperado for money normally as i have a partner who gets a wage aswell but his comes in after the rent is due

tbh what annoys me more is that i went in on time and done the work so i expect to get paid on time and actually get it, regardless of whether i need it or not.

as for getting another job - there are plently of jobs going out there (yea, maybe crappy ones) but a job is a job and im sure il get one soon enough

why dont i see my boss? - as explained in my older posts

    thanks for replying

who is the company? someone may know them and assuming all you have posted is factually correct then there is no comeback.

In your first post you said you needed to pay your rent or you would get kicked out.

How are we supposed to know there are older posts, I had no idea till a few minutes ago.
You should keep everything in one thread otherwise people cant advise you properly.
I'm off now, cant be doing with trawling round old posts and it's nearly tea time.

    ^^^^^^^
CHRIST - as in day to day living, food, petrol, other sorts of small bills.
rent - due out on my pay date - my landlord doesnt like overdue rent and has given me a deadline.

i gave a very brief description of what is going on and I am asking for any advise on how to make an employer pay the wage that is overdue and what is entitled to me without having to wait for the legal process

i would love to do that but i have no clue to where the head office is or if they even have one. all i have are the managers email addresses or telephone numbers - no one answers texts or calls or emails - i have tried googling them and nothing

    good idea though

I know this doesn't help you now but to anyone out there that is employed: Find this stuff out asap and before you even think you need to know it! Make sure you have the details at home in case things happen quickly.

No, there is a usual procedure for this. You need to give them the 14 days and then go to the next step - which I believe is trying to apply for an Employment Tribunal but other people are more knowledgeable on this.

If you name the company, then maybe someone else may be able to tell you where their Head Office/payroll are?.
Have you looked on 'Glassdoor' ?. This site seems to have loads of info about various companies, some of it not very nice, but then, it is the site for people to air their views on.
