Ipad3, worth the extra £70 over the iPad2?

I thihnk retrospectively actually people who've gone out to buy the 3 are right. I can only say from upgrading point, and from a "want to save as much cash as possible, don't need latest model" point with my mum
The support for even the ipad 1 will still be around a few years, the ipad 2 even longer. Generally support is dropped when the iOS is so advanced that it just can't cope on old technology, and then the release is stopped for those products. So any worry of support being stopped "soon" is well unfounded.
The 2 will lag behind the 3 in some things in the future, but compatibility over models is something that isn't to be worried about for the near future. Any app will work, might not be so awesome, and unless you're sat there comparing the 2 and the 3 on the same app, you wouldn't even notice it.

She went for the 3 in the end. Will watch a lot of TV on it so the better screen is ideal. Thanks for your opinions.
Any views on which is the best anti-virus.0 -
