Nope, I suggest not.
First call should be complaining and TELLING them that their agent is trespassing and you are now opting out of the [STRIKE]permit[/STRIKE] moneymaking scheme.
Understand that this IS a scam and an agent cannot enforce tickets on land they don't own. Do not fall for it even if the managing agent/landowner has fallen for it. If you pay you will be a mug...sorry but you need to understand from the outset what this fake PCN is.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

The only people to suffer when a building management company bring in a private parking company are the residents. I can't wait for mine to make the same mistake. They won't know what hit them.
Unless it’s a condition of the lease, you can opt out of any parking scheme. Don't say that you want to opt out. Say that you are opting out.
They will probably say that it's nothing to do with them. B*ll*cks. Advise them that they are "jointly and severally liable" for the actions of their agents, the PPC, and that their actions have been judged to constitute harassment under the terms of The Protection from Harassment Act 1997. That ought to make them reconsider the wisdom of allowing a PPC to victimise their clients.
PS. I'm toying with the idea of setting up my own PPC to "infest" my own parking space. A sort of "pre-emptive strike". And I wonder if the DVLA will give me the details of my own car for £2.50, so I can threaten myself with court action for non-payment?
The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

You're confusing the tenancy agreement with the lease. Your landlord will have a copy, or you may want to ask another owner occupier for a look at theirs. If your development has a Facebook group it can help0
