My Mobile keeps Switching Off

My mobile keeps switching of when somebody calls me it says batteries empty even i have just recharged it . There is no problem when it is on the charger the problem is only when it is not been charged it is a Virgin mobile . What is the problem ?

    I would guess that the battery is almost dead and needs replacing.

    Search for a replacement battery on the web - unless an iPhone, a repolacement is easily swappable and cost under £5.

    I did not know that batteries can go dead when they can be recharged . So how long does a battery last for

    AFAIK it is about 500 cycles for Ni-MH batteries, 1000 for Li-ion. However, this depends on the manufacturer and the warranty is usually no more than 6 months.

    It is a Siemens C25 battery that i need and as my phone is a old model i am having trouble findind a high street store that have them in stock . Any of you know a store that might have them in store ? if i have no luck there i am going to have to try to get them online

    As I noted earlier - this is a Mail Order purchase. Unless it is a current model, accessory shops rarely support consumables like these - and in any event, charge you a lot when they do. Do an Auction search.

    Don't waste your time on shops, just google.
    I don't think that you'll be able to find a genuine one though.
