Is CSA still payable?

Should we inform the CSA now and start the process and probably the fight0

In the absence of anything to back up your claim that the child was co-habiting with her boyfriend it is probably pointless. I am afraid to say that the default position at the CSA is to side with the 'PWC' and in my case there was a very clear bias towards supporting the 'PWC' regardless of how ridiculous it was.
Here's is a wee example....My ex told the CSA that the 'child' was studying for an MBA and even that did not appear to ring a bell - lol!
Do you have anything or anyone who could corroborate? Realistically to be 'living with' her boyfriend, she would have changed her correspondence address, perhaps changed her GP etc? In the absence of such, the CSA/Child benefit people would argue that as long as she returned home periodically for a night or two that there is no need on the part of the PWC to inform them. For child benefit the child needs to be away for 56 nights (8 weeks) in any 16 week period before you need to advise them.0 -
The child will not tell the truth regarding moving out due to sheer fear of the parent. If we cannot turn that decision around i hope to have more luck when the child goes to university, should i inform the CSA of the circumstances regarding university now or when they go.0

What would be the case should the 'child' have to repeat a year of A levels beyond their 19th birthday; or what would be the case if they messed up their GCSE's and went to college to get better grades and then went on to an A level course in the year they turn 190

No matter what their circumstances were beyond turning 19, the child maintenance through the CSA would end at that point.0 -
And does it end in the month they are 19 or some other time ?0

@prelude
Are you aware of this (from direct.gov website)
'Child stays in education or training
You can carry on getting Child Benefit for your child up until their 20th birthday, if they're in education or training that counts for Child Benefit. Education or training counts for Child Benefit as long as it's either of the following:
full-time, 'non-advanced' education (for example 'A' levels)
'approved' training
Your child needs to have started, enrolled or been accepted for one of these types of courses before the age of 19.'0 -

turning 19 is the exception to the "CSA is payable whilst child benefit is in place"
The CSA payments (assuming there are no arrears) will stop the week after their 19th birthday irrespective of whether they are still in education and CB is still being paid
edit: note, if you have 4 eligible children and pay 25% then if the oldest becomes 19 this leaves 3 eligible children...which is still 25%0 -
We suspect that my husbands child has moved out of the pwc's home too, but cannot prove it, and the PWC continues to receive CB and therefore maintenance from us We have been told that if we query it with the CSA the way they check if the child has moved out is to ring the PWC to check..!! As she has lied to the CSA in the past and has been claiming CB and maintenance for a child that dropped out of education months ago unfortunately she is unlikely to tell the CSA that the child has moved out as she stands to lose a big chunk of her monthly income.0
