Snap Freeby!! Even when i thought i'd had my LBM i just overspent on food all the time because "even if i'm skint i need to eat" it took me a long time to get out of that habit, but now i only get that sort of comfort if the freezer is full of little plastic containers of food, rather than packets with yellow stickers on that probably won't get eaten but were a "really good bargain" (paid for on a cc half the time, so actually a seriously expensive bargain ).
TBH it's probably the only area i am organised, but if i keep this in check i know i'll make it!freebyfifty wrote: »Oh heck, I must be totally innocent. 3rd date to me just means the third time you've been out.:D Don't you dare feel any pressure to anything you don't wanna do or you will incur the wrath of freeby :mad::mad::rotfl:
What Freeby said JCG!!
Well i'm allowed to declare NSD 10 today :j:j
I'd set my B&Q budget based on the bark price on t'internet, but when we got there they had bags of hardwood chips too which i knew would be so much longer lasting & better for what i needed but there was no price on them (& no assistant around to ask... typical!!), i dithered for ages but then decided to get them as at least i shouldn't need to add any extra for a while. When i got to the till they went through at just £3 per bag, meaning i spent 12 quid instead of the £21 i expected, so even with a couple of grow bags for the cucumbers (also in the original budget) & some snapdragons (well reduced to 50p so it would have been rude not to! :rotfl:), i came in at £10 under budget :T:T:T I'm a very happy BDINI with no more need to spend on the garden for the foreseeable
