Afternoon all, back from first solo car boot forray and did ok. Was a bit stressfull unpacking, reciting 'no I don't have any stereos / tv's / jewellary / perfume / aftershave' (delete as applicable) whilst trying to unload car, keep one eye on things that were out, put things out and keep the other eye on things still in car. I did snap at one guy who was asking 101 questions about a simple MP3 player I was selling for £3, it was a really busy period and I was trying to serve others and he kept offering lower prices so I turned round and said 'look, its £3, I've told you about it, you either want it or don't want it so make your mind up' (he took bought it:rotfl: ) I also wantedto cut the fingers off the small child who thought it was ok to tap his parents car keys against my car wing - whilst his parents looked on saying nothing :mad: little s**t has left marks but they should polish out ok. All in all made just over £100 so not too shabby :j

Taken some old boxes down to the tip too, seem to be having a late spring clean.

Oh, and the weather was sunny, and actually quite hot :T

Believe me, the kid got the look of death (which is a very special look reserved only for when people really really  me) my car is also my baby, well that is to say I look after it as it's the most expensive thing I own and I use / need it a lot. I think the fact the poor thing (car not child) is still sporting it's injury from the cow who drove into it in the Tacto car park is the only reason I didn't go totally mental.

Declaring NSD #11 as well now, still nicely snuffly with this cold and eating my own bodyweight in digestive biccies and other carp atm which does not bode well for boot camp results in a few weeks  If i go to the shop that is still open heavens knows what I might come back with :rotfl:

Rising - glad Maisie is on the mend!

Kerri - well done on the boot sale, great result & you are a marvel for keeping your temper & not giving the key tapping child more than a death stare!!

Not one for me today :( One too many drinks on Friday night meant that my grocery shopping was a bit hit & miss on Saturday & half way through the batch cooking i realised i just had to nip out for a couple of things if i was to get finished. Oh well freezer is nicely full now, so well worth it :D

Money to one side for bark tomorrow (it was the only day i could get a lift to collect it), so if i behave & don't buy any other "bargains" i shall be back on track tomorrow... fingers crossed!!
