    Oh hello

Just found this thread so hoping I can join in?

I keep a spending diary and looking back I had one NSD in the past 3 weeks

So as a newbie can I put myself down for 6 NSDs to start with. I just need to be more organised and leave the purse at home :rotfl:

    Best of luck everyone.

  • I have a monthly pass for the bus and pay for swimming on a monthly direct debit so don't actually pay when I do them, I understand that. But what happens about my taking out set amounts of money for shopping etc. at the start of week, does this mean that its all spent on that day so doesn't count for the days I actually use it on, so giving me six nsd's in a row every week, which seems odd.

That's the way I do it NeedWillpower :) The trick is to make what you have bought last and not to nip into the shop to buy more or just for impulse buys. :o I try to organise myself to spend on one day only and don't spend the rest of the week. It's not as easy as it sounds!!!!!

It's all about being conscious of what you spend, when you spend and how you spend and making you aware of where your money is disappearing to especially on non essential stuff - well, that's my take on it anyway, everybody has different ways of doing the NSD challenge.

Come and join us. Set a target and away you go :j

Well I achieved my May target of 12, then extended the target to 15, which I may just about make (though i think that I may fall one short).

So, with one less day in the month, it will be a slightly harder challenge in June, but I'd like to aim for 15 NDSs please
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done
