Contract through Tesco Phone Shop - false advertising?
Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help. In December I took out a 2yr contract with T-Mobile, through Tesco Phone Shop. The deal was that after the first month's payment I would receive 20,000 Clubcard points.
I checked once the month was up and I had only been credited 10,000 points. I have been chasing them about this now since February, they always say oh they'll be credited in the next mailing, the last of which was last week and surprise surprise, no points.
I'm seriously losing my rag with them now, as I wanted those points for family trips and meals out over the summer holidays, which we will now have to go without.
If they do reply to me (about 50% of the time) it's always to ask some simple question that has already been answered in the previous email, as if they're stalling.
Does this come under false advertising? I've asked for it to be escalated but have no idea where I go from here!

Do you have any sort of written confirmation on the contract signed which indicated that you would receive the 20k points after the 1st payment, it could well be a first and final split to ensure you adhere to the contracted length?0

Thanks for your reply. That did cross my mind, but I distinctly remember the small print saying the 20,000 points would be credited following the first month's payment!Jaye x0

If you still have a copy of the contract with the print about the 20k points, then I would go to a tesco mobile store and present the agent in store with this and your statement showing only 10k added, and ask them to explain why.
Normally a bit of face to face works alot better than email or phone.0
