hehehe cheeky (and nosey) you lot!
What other situations do you think would warrant this action?
Why are you reluctant to tell us the real reason? Perhaps because it makes you look bad? If you want proper advice then you should provide full information.Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!0 -

Not really relevant but even without knowing the truth or full facts the MSE snarling dogs and trolls have judged me.
Been on here since 2004 and what a change-what the hell happened?!
What type of circumstances do you all think would justify such action by a Housing Trust?PLAY GOOD!

In this area it is used to check whether a property is being used. perhaps because they need to do maintenance and can't get access or alternatively they believe the property to be abandoned. The police won't take action because no offence has been committed.

Just check the difference between the British Crime Survey and the official statistics.0 -
Unfortunately so often the police label events as non-police matters in order to massage the crime figures.
I wonder if Fiona Pilkington encountered lovely control room staff like powerful_rogue during her 33 terrified calls to Police.
Would her calls have been classed as a civil matter? What do we all think?
RIP Fiona xPLAY GOOD!

You're not really comparing your situation to hers, are you? If so, you really need to get some perspective. Someone put a sticker on your door, in good faith. The Pilkington family had years of targeted abuse intended to cause distress.0 -

Course not silly sausage! Off topic to do with the police logging incidents comment.
I repeat:-

"Would Fiona's calls have been classed as a civil/ non police matter? What do we all think"
I think in that case there were two problems:
1) That, although it was a 'police matter', each person who took the call treated it as very low priority.
2) There was no mechanism in place to correlate multiple reports and flag what was was evidently a very serious problem.
This was a major tragedy and, one hopes, all police forces will take note and ensure that their systems will properly handle any similar situations in the future. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
