  • Lottery wins say Camelot
  • I stumbled across this thread after googling, I have the exact same thing, "prize payment 3" and a credit for exactly £10.

    Not lottery here either.

Is your account with Halifax by any chance?
Is it anything to do with the monthly draw Halifax do with savings accounts?
  • Jones I wondered that, but they don't do a prize of £10.

I've just realised, mine IS lottery, its my direct debit tickets - the prize was automatically credited to my account. I've only recently started playing by direct debit, previously when i did it pay-as-you-go, the funds went in to my lottery account and I had to manually withdraw them.
  • I've had 2 payments from 'Prize Payment 3'....one for £3.00, and then a week later for £5.00.

I've reported it to my bank, but they just laugh and say 'let's hope they send you more' !!!

    Bizarre.
  • It IS National Lottery.....Thunderball payments/wins.

(You would have thought that they would have put something on the Bacs to identify themselves!!)

    ...end of mystery!

Probably fair to assume that "prize payment 3" payments are from Camelot
  • Well, I just found £1,147 credited to my bank my the mysterious Prize Payment 3!!! I do do the lottery via direct debit, but previous (£10) wins were always annotated as Camelot PLC. This is almost certainly the lottery, but would be great for someone from Camelot to confirm this, and maybe change the reference back to Camelot PLC!

All that said, not complaining, and thanks Prize Payment 3 whoever you are!! :-) :T
  • I just found this mystery entry in my bank account (for £10) and it's been great to google it and find my way here - among MSE friends to solve the mystery.

No idea why Camelot have done this, they changed from "CAMELOT GROUP PLC" in April to "CAMELOT UK" in June and now this - all small wins though - still waiting for the big one...

No the lowest amount you can win is £100 and you have to claim the winnings upon receipt of your letter/mobile text via your branch.

So just to complete the thread, I assume "PRIZE PAYMENT 3" means £10 - as in we got 3 balls right?
