What you could do is wait until the IP5 is released and then make a decision - in the meanwhile the S3 will probably have dropped in price...

But then the op should wait for the s4.... You,ll be stuck in an infinate loop, just get an s3. The older s2 still wipes the floor with the 4s
  • LOL true but then if its between the two then it might not be like that...!!

A quick thing to point out. If you're a bit of a tech geek like me, or just like to have more control over customisation of your phone you might prefer the S3 (or Android based phone) rather than iPhone/iOS, which is a bit limiting with settings.

There can be only speculations about it. Like when iPad 3 came people were speculating its ain't good as the rest.. But people are still buying it. So go with whatever you think is right. Whatever your gut says.
Hey, btw are you lured by Metro Moneyback's £105 cashback from Vodafone? Then take a look at Three too.

Are you techy - will you want to tweak and customise the phone so it does exactly what you want it to do? If yes, Samsung S3, or any other Android phone.
Is the cost of the phone important? If yes, S3. (Or a secondhand iPhone 4?)

Do you want something that will do 95% of what you want to do without thinking about it? Yes, iPhone.

I'm a huge Android fan, and I really dislike a huge amount about the iPhone, but everyone values (and dislikes) different things.

This page is deffo worth a read (although biased, in my biased opinion...): http://ipod.about.com/od/iphonevscompetitors/tp/Iphone-Or-Android-which-to-buy.htm
If less is more, think how much "more" more would be.

And so to summarise "You’ll need to decide what factors are most important to you and then choose the phone that best meets your needs."
But we all knew that already
