It is a scientific fact that your body will not absorb calories if you take it from another person's plate.

Takes place 6th - 8th July at Silverstone. Winner will also need to be available for the London event on 28th June.
Edit: answers from posters below!0 -
You need to listen to the video for the answer; I don't know London very well at all - they say it starts at a hotel with a very long straight. The video isn't very long.Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

Hi, sorry to bump but i can't make the mall fit to what they are saying with location of the turns and the directions.
I have tried putting in on google maps the route and seam to have it from Oxford street but still not 100% convienced.
don't know what others think?
Thanks to the people who have posted competitions, good luck to everyone, and well done to the winners!:beer:0 -
^ I agree, I can't make the Mall fit either. I am only sat here with a low tech bus map though and my rough walking knowledge of London!! Also agree on Park Lane, Constitution Hill (Buck Palace) etc - but looking at the clip they show of Westminster Bridge they seem to be across the river looking at it but I can't make it fit going over the river..
I'll have another look in the morning when I'm a bit less tired though, this comp is giving me brain ache!
Does your map above fit in the 5.4 km?0 -
Sorry about my answer. I have adblocker so didn't know that there was a video. Your answer looks a lot better in terms of the route markiegj. I was just thinking what would be best in terms of space for grandstands, pits etc. Guess I won't be winning this one!0

I thought I'd type out some of the details from the video so we can ponder over it:
5.4km track
14 corners
Turn 4 is at the end of a very long straight which starts at one of London's premier hotels.
Up through the gears reaching speeds of 290km before we get on the brakes, we bring the speed down to just 90km before making a tough left hand turn. Then straight back on the accelerator and off to see the Queen.
Turn 10 is middle section of a tough 3 part corner, with views of Big Ben and Westminster Abbey this is one of the track's most picturesque and demanding left hand corners.
Turn 14 is a high speed left hander under the watchful gaze of Admiral Horatio Nelson.
There are 14 corners to the track, as the last one is Trafalgar Square; is that near Oxford Street?Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End

Yes, (though not by markiejg's plotted map above), it would have to instead go straight up Charing Cross Road from Trafalgar Square (past Leicester Sq station) up to the Tottenham Court Road end of Oxford Street. But it is also fairly straight back from Trafalgar Square to Embankment too, though as they are doing a left hander past T/Sq I'd probably go more with Oxford Street too.0 -

This summer London becomes the sporting capital of the world as it gets ready to host the 2012 Olympic games. So F1 didn't miss out on all the London fun Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button teamed up with Santander to put together a fantasy London Grand Prix track. For your chance to win the prizes all you need to do is guess which street you think the start / finish line will be.
Possibly oxford street as the text above says what street
Im still trying to get the video to play as it keeps freezing, will get answer as soon as i can
