    Hey ladies and gents,
More cloud building which is kinda nice as sunshine is relentless and I am melting :o
Having problems with DS and his nose bleeds again :( he's having them every night and the poor sod is waking up in a pool of his own blood  he's had another one during today too. Only good thing is with this weather the bedding he has bled all over is easy to dry.
Went to a massive car boot this morning. Treated the kids to a couple of things. Picked up a bargain disney dress up dress for DD's birthday it's in good nick, complete with the tiara and it cost £4 :T that's cheaper than on eBay.

We're having a picnic at local lakes this evening, it's too hot for a Sunday roast :o

Flutterby pics look fab :) I am not fussed about the games but I shall head out to see the torch as it passes really close to our house :o

Sistercas I didn't watch Eurovision but I wish we would pull out of it, it's a total farce with the voting and think the money and effort would be better spent elsewhere.

Hugs and spoons all round xxx

    Evening All

Had a busy weekend, yesterday I power washed the deck (it is the size of a small continent) and today I put protector on it. Also cut the grass and it was so hot I thought I would melt!

Anyway, I had just jumped in the shower when friends called round so I shouted out of the bathroom window to them to wait! Managed to cobble together a tea of chicken baked pots and salad which we all ate in the garden. The male half of the friends fixed the arial (el?) on the tv and also the handle on the bbq so he was rewarded with a few tins of beer!

Hope you've all had a good weekend. Take care. XX

Hi chums well we had a fabulous day at Westgate (West Bay) tide was just out when we got there at around 10.45 and we stayed on the beach in the sunshine until 3.30.The boys went off 'crabbing with their Mum and buckets and caught three fair sized ones plus two starfish and a medium shimp. All of which were returned safely after being inspected by Granny who sits in the shade with the flask . After oohing and ahhing over their finds, they took them back to where they found them and I carried on reading my Kindle and drinking my coffee, life just couldn't get better for me.Not a cloud in the sky, and the beach never gets too crowded there, as there's no amusements, only a small cafe and an ice cream seller. The boys played in the sea with their boogie boards, and we all came home covered in sand (it gets everywhere doesn't it even when your just sitting on a fold-up chair :):)) Lovely gentle relaxing day, and my DD looked relaxed and refreshed for it.
We had a nice roast beef dinner,son-in-law isn't keen on beaches and he stayed home with the two dogs as it was a scorcher, but with salad instead of roasties and I've just got in and had a quick shower (more sand:) ) and am about to go off to bed for a read.
Tomorrow is a busy one with the school run, and then my friend is coming down from Dartford for the day, and we are going to knitting club mid morning as she brings lots of bits for the charity collection that we send of to.
Lunch will be a cheese and egg salad I think as its due to be another warm one tomorrow.I may roast a couple of chicken quarters in the Remoska to use later on in the week with salad bits. DGS Ben has his English -Lit GCSE on Tuesday so fingers crossed for that.
Hope everyone has had a nice week-end .
Good night God Bless all here
