Good Morning x
Jackie O - really like the sound of your day at the beach. It makes me excited for my holiday in Cornwall in 6 weeks time:T:T:T
Had a very slow day yesterday but trying to get more done this morning. We are cleaning the pigs out and putting them together again. They dont seem to have bonded yet but hopefully time will tell. We are also baking some cakes for Jubilee next week as DD had a stall for Women's Aid.
Hope you all have a peaceful Sunday xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Morning all,
Lovely hot day again, have stripped the beds, ours is in the wm, and I will put dd's in after, will put them straight back on the bed later, all fresh from the garden.
Went to my sis last night for a bbq, which was lovely, she had been to waitrose and got all the bits, so it was very tasty, and I did not break my diet :T, I have also ordered some low carb bread mix online, because I am craving something stodgy, hopefully it will come Tuesday.
Dinner tonight is smoked mackerel salad, with new spuds for the others. I need to list on ebay later on, and we have some items finishing today, so need to get them packed up.
Will have a quick swish and swipe, but not doing any major housework, I fancy an afternoon out somewhere.
Have good days all xx0 -
Morning, didnt catch up yesterday so hope everyone is ok.Eldest DS went away yesterday morning, and DS2 went to a stag do at the races and he's not back yet so it's very peaceful here
In the afternoon ,we were invited to our friends,we had antipasti and pizza sat in the garden, along with theodd drink or two-it was lovely.Their garden is huge, & rural,we were watching a pheasant that comes calling at the back door for grub
Not sure of todays plans so havent planned tea-prob barbecue if there is anything left at the sm :rotfl:I fancy a walk round a local park which has been given a facelift, and today for the first time they have moved the monthly farmers market there,so would think they'll get more visitors.Right time for a cuppa-hope you all have good days x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning all,
JackieO oh how i wish i was near a beach right now! I would love to live by the sea but i have to settle for staying in our caravan which is sited 8 miles from Bude in Cornwall. We didnt get to use it much last year but we are hoping to make more use of it this year. I love to walk the dogs along Summerleaze beach as the sun starts to go down (though neither dogs are keen on the sea). We did think about going away next long weekend but to be honest we'd prefer to go when theres not so much traffic on the road and its a lot quieter on the site.
Weather is bright and sunny and i'm not dressed yet. Ive shut myself away upstairs as hubby is talking accounts with his accountant. Looks like he will get a decent rebate this year as he has paid too much tax.
Everything that can be washed, has been washed and although i'm a little late with feeding the men, i'll get onto it as soon as the accountant as gone.
It would be nice to go out later but its a little too warm for me. We'll see. Need to list a few things on Ebay (that should take me most of the afternoon)
Hope your day is a pleasant one and that you dont get burnt if you go outside. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I've had an amazing morning!!
My friend picked me up and we headed t work to watch the Olympic Torch. We got a good spot outside the building but sadly too far down to see the changeover, but still saw the torch go past etc. My friend got interviewed for Welsh TV (I was too shy!). We decided to go follow it to the next town. We randomly parked and turned out to get the best spot ever as it was right where the next torchbearer was gonna be, so we had our picture taken with the man and the torch and I got to touch the Olympic Torch!!! :j How cool is that?! Here's a picture for those of you not on FB. After that we went for a nice walk along the seafront for an hour.
My brother is coming to visit tonight for a couple of hours so have also invited parents round for tea too. Going to cook fajitas, nice and easy to do.
