Have you not posted on PePiPoo yet?

They will provide you with details of any anomolies on the ticket that might mis-state your position, and more importantly have you got any photos of the suspension sign? Did the council provide you with any or did you ask?

90-odd percent of suspension signs are non-compliant and cannot be enforced without permission from the Secretary of State, which most councils don't bother with. They would have assisted you with that angle too over on PePiPoo.

Also, you state that the suspension ran from 12:30pm, and you parked at 9am. Was this angle looked at??

Very very rarely are Council tickets 'clear cut'.

Well evidence has now been provided and looks like I parked in the only spot that was marked off from 12.30pm to 6.30pm. Unfortunately the evidence is pretty clear that I'm going to have to pay the fine but luckily they have put it back to the £35 if I pay within 14 days.

I'm still going to check over on Peppipoo about it but it seems pretty clear cut to me.

    Thanks

Gawd you throw in the towel quickly!

Almost EVERYONE gets a refusal from Councils at this stage - I know you work for the Council but most just routinely refuse all early appeals. It's a pretty shocking approach, a racket designed to make most people think what you think: 'I guess I have to pay'.

Please wait until pepipoo have had a look at the letter of rejection and all your other paperwork. See what they say asap!

And as already mentioned, almost every suspended bay sign is NON COMPLIANT. You should win this IMHO.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
