Question about SELF-SELECT ISAs
Comments
-
I have an earlier ISA with Selftrade (ex comdirect) which I use mainly for investment trusts (effectively a share purchase) and the occassional share purchase. I then have more recent ISAs with Hargreaves Lansdown, which I use exclusively for funds. It would be slightly easier to have everything in one place but in terms of charges my current setup seems to offer the best solution.
If you are buying only investment trusts and/or large and mid-cap shares in a self-select ISA and are not dealing frequently; then the Alliance Trust might also be worth a look as they have no annual charge: http://www.alliancetrust.co.uk/isa_home.htm"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the

of everything that comes along their way."
