yeah, forgot to say pigpen, how has it gone?
to be honest i'd always thought you had a good marriage from things you had said on here!!
Can you just email that to him please because he says I paint him black on here??
He came home yesterday.. needs to collect some bits from his sisters today.. but I may just walk up with him.. if it is out the house!! (and means I can escape from Lil_me's HUUUUGGGEEEE list!!)
We ended up sounding like we had eaten too many fortune cookies (does anyone actually EAT those things they are vile??) become buddhist (if the tree does not bend to the mountain, the ants will follow the birds.. eh? What?) and GOD am I stubborn?!?!?!

pigpen - just noticed your posts (obviously posted whilst I was wasting good cleaning time writing my list - I LOVE lists!)
Big hugs to you - you sound as though you have alot on your plate. Always difficult when things aren't going well, and we don't appreciate things enough when things are on the up.
Sun is shining here - hope it is where you are. I'm definitely one of those SAD people affected by the weather. Only thing is, the sun shining through the window highlights the dust and that the windows need cleaning - or should I say USED to before I discovered all you friendly souls on here to keep me in line.Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -

I know from experience how much washing 5 kids produce. I can't begin to imagine how much 8 kids will come up with!

I marvel at your stamina Pigpen!
And yes, I have those dumping grounds in the house as well..
When I'm on top of one, like the living room; I keep it tidy, keep reminding everbody to clean up their stuff.. they just go and find another area in the hosue to dump their crap!!
The hallway, the upstairs landing, their bedroom, the bathroom.. ANYWHERE!!!
Yesterday I got fed up with DD1. She is 14 yrs old. I had asked her for a few days to put away a book of hers. She kept moving it around the living room. Last night I'd had enough. I told her: "Look! Count with me!"
*picked up book and counted:* "ONE.... *walked to bookshelf* two, three, four.... *put book on shelf* FIVE! And you're DONE! It took 5 seconds! and you have been arguing and avading me for three days now about this book! You could have avoided all that by taking FIVE SECONDS! to put away this book on the shelf!!"
She spent the rest of the time sulking at me. I guess I wasn't allowed to point that out to her..

Right:
mad dash through the master bedroom.
That's all looking nice again. Bedroom is tiny so that helps.
Beef is cooking in the slow cooker.
I'm just going to run the hoover around the high traffic area. Loads of sand and mud got dragged in yesterday. Then it's in the shower and getting ready for work.

I don't want to clean....oh, did I just say that? Right, i'm off to do the list, honest! I've a free day though there is no such thing as I really have to study all day.
Catch you all later
