Oh we used to make that all the time. So easy and so well balanced. Great with broccoli too (*drools over roasted broccoli*)

    Hi Guys!

Im awaiting more treatment at home so too and fro from the hospital with a view to operate in 2-3 months time. Im on total bed rest again, so OH is having to do all the meals. We have in food wise for next week and have my niece here for a few days....its gonna be mad:

    Chicken, spuds and veggies
Toad In Hole, mash and veggies
    Egg, Chips and beans
    Meatballs and spagetti with salad
Lamb steaks, minted mash and veggies
    SC Curry and rice/naan
    Take-Away

Well thats roughly the plan, but things may change if things get too hectic, but not going to worry about it.

Wheres Boodle? Hope you're okay sweetie.

I'm here :) I sometimes miss this thread if I'm not on when someone has just posted :o I hope you're doing ok, PP and keeping well rested x

Bit late here with basically posting last week's menu, but seeing as I'm here I might as well pop it up.

Breakfasts have been Sheese spread toasties, jam toasties, or fruit n fibre. Soya milk for girls.

Lunches have been muffin pizzas, sausage rolls, or hummus and avocado sarnies with carrot/celery, fruit and a soy yog/dessert pot.

Teas have been fruit and crackers, usually with a peanut butter dip too, and cup of soya milk for girls.

    Dinners
Sat: Puy Lentil and Quinoa Chilli with rice
Sun: Party food (Sheese spread sarnies, muffin pizzas, sausage rolls, crisps, carrots, pickled onions, pineapple chunks, lemon tart, Snickers tart, and cake.)
Mon: Mushroom and HG Chive Flan, baked beans and jackets
Tue: Chinese Cashew Curry with rice
Wed: HM Pizza with HM Florida coleslaw
Thu: Cheatballs with tinned spaghetti (!) and HM Garlic and Rosemary Toasts
Fri: Either Fishless Patties and greens or an Ocean Casserole with greens

Suppers have been soya milk for the girls, and salted ( :o ) popcorn for us later on. I can't get enough salt at the minute. Not sure if it is because of the heat or the pregnancy...!
Love and compassion to all x

    This week's meals are:

    Sat: Jambalaya
    Sun: Shepherd's Pie
    Mon: Pizza from the freezer
Tues: Chicken Curry with Brown Rice
Weds: Chilli con Carne with Sauteed Potatoes
Thurs: Sweet & Sour Chicken with Noodles
Fri: Toad in the Hole with Beans.

Now that the weather has cooled off a bit, I think I can start doing a little baking for snacks. I'm definitely feeling the need for a bit of flapjack love, maybe drizzled with a little melted milk chocolate...

I've missed posting on this thread for a while, but feel like I'm back now :)

Are we rolling over the thread this time rather than starting a new one? I'll post here anyway, so I don't forget what I've planned (as usual, (F) means from the freezer):

    Friday - jambalaya (F)
Saturday - ham, pesto and cherry tomato pizza
Sunday - pork (F) and pepper kebabs with char-grilled asparagus and chilli flatbread - cooked on the BBQ if the weather co-operates (and under the grill if it doesn't ;))
Monday - bacon (F), spinach and cream cheese pasta bake
Tuesday - green veg and pesto soup with HM bread
Wednesday - veg chilli con carne

Thursday - out - the last charity hotdog before the stall closes
Back after a very long break!

Breakfasts: Muesli with almond milk, smoothies with flax seed, hummous on ryvita, beans on toast or fresh fruit and nuts

Dinners (and, usually, lunch for the next day) in no particular order. Given up on that :rotfl:

    1. Beetballs, wholewheat spaghetti and salad
    2. Stuffed mushrooms with raw carrot, courgette and cashew salad (similar to this)
    3. Courgette fritters with steamed broccoli and jersey royal potato salad (probably just dress with an olive oil and vinegar dressing, some chives and some mustard)
    4. Rice noodles stir fried with peas, cashews, red pepper, onions and on a bed of garlic and chilli pak choi
    5. Salad night - Curly lettuce, grated raw beetroot and carrot, cucumber, tomato, onion and pickled red cabbage with lentil pate on pumpkin and oat ryvitas.
    6. 5 bean chilli with guacamole and brown rice
    7. And a night out in our local Thai
Treats/snacks: Roasted garlic and chilli broccoli, ginger biscuits, lentil pate, hummous, olives, fruit

We're getting our first organic fruit and veg boxes tomorrow:
Beetroot Bunch Broccoli Carrots Courgettes Cucumber Green Frilly Lettuce Jersey Royal Potatoes Pak Choi Red Pepper Vine Tomatoes
    White Mushrooms White onions

So have been trying to incorporate that into the meal plan.
