Hi everyone
I totally lost track last week and ended up just using what was nearest in the freezer. Also I noticed that when i look at other peoples menus mine look really boring:rolleyes2
So this week I'm going to try harder
Sun Sausege, egg and beans (Had lunch out because it was my 24th wedding anniversary last Mon but OH works away during the week so this is the 1st chance we've had
Mon Curried noodles with pork chop for DS1 and veggie option for me
Tues Pie, mash and mixed veg
Weds Fish (for DS1) and egg for me and potato wedges and peas
Thurs Toad in the hole and green beans and gravy
Fri Chilli and rice (made with quorn mince)
Sat We usually have takeaway of some sort because we are all so busy on a Saturday and its a treat (can be cut out if we really need to but you can't give up everything)
Still not madly exciting but will alter if I come up with anything better.
Have a good week everyone:grouphug:

Another week already:
Last week mostly stuck to the plan in spite of having a really bad back all week. Actually the planning helped cause I knew we had all the ingredients, OH could be asked to buy milk etc on the way home from work and preparations could be done slowly during the day or delegated. Many extra meals were frozen and I had lunch all week from leftovers and freezer is packed to the brim. Monday OH took pity and bought us a takeaway but that came out of entertainment budget.
W/B March 11th:
S:Roast pork with trimmings
M:Leftover pork in giant Yorkshires (thank you whoever posted this)
T: Lasagne (sauce already made and frozen)
W:Pan fried salmon and rice
T:Chicken cooked in Shop honey and mustard sauce (Son's special request)
F:Roast Duck and potatoes
S:Rainbow Trout (stuffed and baked)
I had forgotten how much meal planning and preparing ahead helps, and we are eating earlier which pleases DS no end.Target 1: Pay off Alders by July 2007(done), Target 2: Clear overdraft by end of 2007
