4*Chandris Hotel in Dassia, Corfu is lovely. Thomson do a package there and the food's good. Walk through the gardens to the beach, small bars/taverns in the village and a bus service to nearby Corfu Town.
Check it out on Thomson website and see whether you think this might be suitable. We loved it and it's certainly suitable for mother and daughter.Normal people worry me.0 -
Naxos? Stayed there with mum who also enjoyed Elounda, (although we went self catering so I can't recommend a hotel) and naxos town was compact for a wander around and to sit and watch the world go by. Some ancient things to mooch round, and if you get stir crazy you can hop on a ferry elsewhere.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I think it might be one of the Greek islands or Mallorca. I love Italian food so much, I'd come back 6 stone heavier if I went to Italy! The Canaries are great, but I was a holiday rep on many of them in a previous life, so wanted to try somewhere new.0
