Not everybody has family/friends... nor family/friends available at the drop of a hat to do a viewing.poppysarah wrote: »For peace of mind I would get a family friend or relative to do the viewings - to be the one to unlock and make sure it's all locked back up.
I really wouldn't give an estate agent keys and the alarm code - but that's because I would be paranoid about them not locking up properly.
Also, family can't be relied on..... my dad had a secret set of keys cut for my house, that I only found out about when I returned from working away all week to find my door unlocked... he denied it, but mum said "Yes, he's been over to your house this week".0 -

In there is no one else then no viewings for a week.
It isn't the end of the world.
Anyone keen isn't going to be put off by not viewing for a week.0
