Holiday help please!

Hellooo,
You all sound very clued up about Holidays and deals so I thought i'd ask for a bit of help! I'm trying to plan a holiday for 3 teenage (19) girls, it's their last summer before starting full-time work etc, so they'd love to have a bit of a boozy holiday. Yet I know nothing about the ideal location, for them to go!
They've all booked off from the 28th of August off till the 6th of September, they know its not the cheapest time to go but one girl in particular has a lot of work constraints. They've each got around £300 for flights and accommodation & some extra spending money (insurance etc will be paid for) , i'm so basically i'm trying to find them a 'party' holiday to somewhere hot for around £900ish.
I've been into a few holiday shops and the prices are extortionate (quoting £600 each for a holiday i'd found on the internet for £240each), I mentioned to one about the prices i'd found online and they told me none of the prices are legitimate. I really know nothing about booking holidays, so some help about location, cheaper places and ideas to get a good deal would be appreciated!
Thankyou ever so much

where can they fly from, my first option would be to look at the low cost flights from their airports then see what is left in the budget for accommodation. Flights to some places may well be over their total budget to they need to look at places they can afford to get to0

Most probably any London airport

Hi ,
Flights as mentioned are the priority price wise .
I hate to say it but Ryanair are often the cheapest in my opinion .
The way I search my holidays is to find the cheapest flight from the cheapest airport , then find the accommodation to match after checking the reviews on Trip Advisor .0 -

Is this 'as safe' as booking a package holiday, I mean if anything goes wrong out there I don't want them to be stranded!

Hi again sailorr .
This is a difficult area . Many online travel agents advertise holidays which appear to be a package , but in fact are a flight & accommodation booked separately . Therefore not a package .
One example of this is Broadway Travel , however if you book a holiday believing you have booked a package. then it is covered by the http://www.holidaytravelwatch.net/2010/06/12/package-travel-regulations/
If you like . I'm more than happy to find a holiday for your girls although it maybe budget accommodation .:)0 -
With that budget theyll probably have to stay somewhere 1-2star or a hostel.
have you looked on expedia for flight and hotel searches and see what comes up under that price bracket, or thomas cook, first choice etc? Or like above posters said check where you can get first flight wise.
Surely they could look themselves anyway if theyre 19?0 -

They have looked, they researched and called up a few places but were treated rudely and felt as though they were timewasters! Being one of their older sisters, I called up a short while after and was treated courteously so it now seems that i'm head holiday planner! I just wanted a few tips!0 -
there lucky to have you.
Going back to diy package - if you book flight, transfers and hotel in one go your protected, there is also protection if you book within a certain time period, i'm not 100% sure its just recently changed.
I did a diy last year I went to Prague.
try the websites, Thomas Cook, Thompson, Direct line
I wouldn't bother with First choice (theres nothing wrong with them) just that from the summer they've gone all in only, so doubt there prices and your sisters would meet.
Thomas Cook had some gd offers flying on 28th aug, - lot between £300/£350, if they don't mind self catering or B+B.
Flight wise your still in the summer holidays so it will keep the costs up. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
